I am currently based in Austin, Texas, U.S.A. as a software engineer for Cvent. I graduated from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver in 2023 with a BASc in Applied Science, Engineering Physics.
My main focus was in mathematics and computer science. I had the pleasure of taking honours level mathematics as well as being involved with exciting research projects related to special relativity (Einstein!) and cryogenic electron microscopy (Stanford!). I was also a UBC Computer Science teaching assistant for introductory computer science courses: APSC 160 and CPSC 259.
At Cvent, I first worked on the Attendee Hub platform, collaborating with over 500 engineers to enhance the event experience for live, hybrid, and virtual attendees. As a full-stack engineer, I worked on the integration of a chat moderation engine for large-scale events with upwards of 10,000 attendees, and Simple Sign Up: a feature enabling attendees to register for events on the fly, improving user conversion rates. My team is now focused on Cvent Essentials, a product for simple in-person events. We are currently working on releasing a revamped attendee engagement experience and planner-side tools.
In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, playing poker, working out, or travelling the world. I also enjoy anything to do with motorsports or cars, and follow ice hockey and Formula 1.
I love meeting new people. Please do connect with me and start a conversation!
